The Harrison School 7-10 Superhero Athletics carnival is fast approaching!
When: Thursday 3rd July (Week 10 Term 2) at Amaroo Ovals. This is a normal school day and attendance is compulsory for all students
What to wear: Come dressed in your best Superhero attire in house colours
Students should wear appropriate sports clothing (plus bring warm clothes for when not competing), sneakers/athletics shoes, a hat and sunscreen
Nullarbor = Red, Katoomba = Blue, Wimmera = Green, Mapleton = Yellow
Getting there: Students are to arrive at school, go to their homerooms for roll call, then catch buses to take them to the ovals.
Food: There will be no canteen facilities on the carnival day. Students must bring their own food and drinks.
It is important that students bring a water bottle and keep hydrated throughout the day.

The 1500m event will be held at 9:00am on the morning of the event. Students will need to be dropped off at the Amaroo Ovals by their parents before this time if they wish to compete in this event. They can still travel back to school on the bus at the end of the day.
Students wishing to be compete in Hurdles, High Jump or Triple Jump at the Zone Carnival need to see Mr Dickson or Ms Bradley.
If there are any parents who would like to assist on the day with timekeeping, judging, marshalling or field events please indicate on the permission note or contact firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the carnival.
WET WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS: In case of heavy rain, announcements will be made over radio stations 104.7 and 106.3 from 7.30am onwards. If the carnival is postponed the school will run a normal Thursday program.
