Avid readers of the Daily News might notice a small change. We’ve updated the layout of the page to a new design which should make life easier for those viewing the site on mobile and tablet devices.
We’ve moved the search button onto the top right hand corner of the page, just under the header image. You can use this to search for any news story that has been posted, just tap in the keyword of the story. For example, “Uniform” should bring up stories about uniform free days, and any updates to the policy.
Each post should be categorised by the area of the school it’s aimed at, and you can access those categories in the new drop down menu on the left hand side, or scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it on a mobile or tablet.
If you haven’t subscribed yet to get messages straight to your email, the subscribe link should now be a lot easier to find.
We’re making these changes to pave the way forward for more student created content: news videos, demonstrations and displays of student learning, even the header image will change every other week with artwork or photos taken by Harrison School students.
Over the next two weeks we’ll be posting up photos and videos of the schools first Overseas trip to Japan! Keep an eye out for these posts and more content in the future.
