English follows after Japanese
Students from our sister school, Tomio Daisan have shared their recent activities that happened earlier this year.
In April, each school in Japan has its own entrance ceremony held in a quite traditional way, as you can see below. The size of Tomio Daisan is similar to Harrison School. There are about 671 students in primary, and 229 students in high school. The school year starts from April, and ends in March. The longest holiday, known as summer vacation, is from the end of July to the end of August. Year 9 students have already enjoyed their trip to Okinawa (Okinawa is a series of islands located in the southern part of Japan), as you can see in the picture below.
