This Friday 29 June, the student leadership will be holding a Pyjama Day to raise money for the Fearless Initiative. All we are asking is that students donate a gold coin to participate in the event. As it is freezing, we ask that students wear winter pyjamas and either UGG boots or regular school footwear. Below is an explanation of the Fearless Initiative.
The Fearless Initiative is a charity organisation, created to raise awareness and much needed funds for organisations in the ACT that support victims of family violence. These charities include the Domestic Violence Crisis Service and Toora Women Inc. The main focus is an annual charity event – Fearless Comedy Gala. The work of Fearless continues to grow, including the fundraising events held by Harrison School last year. Over the last two years, The Fearless Initiative has raised over $80,000 to support victims of family violence in the ACT.
The student leadership thanks you in advance for all your support.
